General Pupils’ Code of Conduct
“Discipline, Excellence, and Integrity for a Brighter Future”
1. Respect and Discipline
- Pupils must respect all teachers, staff, prefects, and fellow pupils.
- Obedience to school rules and instructions from school authorities is mandatory.
- Fighting, bullying, and use of abusive language are strictly prohibited.
2. Punctuality and Attendance
- All pupils must arrive for classes and school activities on time.
- Absenteeism without valid permission will not be tolerated.
- Latecomers must report and explain to the school authority.
3. Uniform and Appearance
- School and boarding uniforms must be clean, neat, and properly worn.
- Fancy hairstyles, dyed hair, long nails, or makeup are not allowed.
- Shoes must be clean and worn as required.
4. Academic Conduct
- Pupils must complete homework and classwork promptly.
- Silence and order must be observed during lessons.
- Cheating or dishonesty in tests or exams will result in disciplinary action.
5. Cleanliness and Environment
- Pupils must maintain cleanliness in classrooms, dormitories, and the school compound.
- Littering is not allowed; dustbins must be used at all times.
- School property must be handled with care and respect.
6. Language and Communication
- Pupils must use polite, respectful, and appropriate language at all times.
- Communication in English or Kiswahili is encouraged in school settings.
7. Movement and Safety
- Pupils must remain within school and boarding premises unless permitted by the head teacher or matron/patron.
- Climbing trees, fences, or entering restricted areas is prohibited.
- Safety rules must be followed during all school activities.
8. Relationships and Behavior
- Pupils must avoid romantic relationships or any inappropriate behavior.
- Respect and kindness must guide all social interactions.
- Conflicts should be reported to teachers or prefects—not resolved with violence.
Boarding Pupils’ Code of Conduct

1. Dormitory Conduct
- Maintain silence during sleeping hours and prep time.
- Keep your bed, locker, and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Do not switch beds or dorms without permission from the matron or patron.
2. Boarding Time Table
- Follow the daily routine: wake-up, meals, prep, and lights out.
- Do not loiter in dormitories during class hours.
- Use prep time strictly for quiet study.
3. Respect for Staff
- Show respect and obedience to matron, patron, cooks, guards, and support staff.
- Follow instructions promptly and without argument.
4. Food and Hygiene
- Take meals in the dining hall at scheduled times.
- Do not bring food into dormitories unless permitted.
- Maintain personal hygiene daily: bathing, brushing, and washing uniforms.
5. Prohibited Items
- Do not bring mobile phones, radios, sharp objects, mirrors, perfumes, money, or junk food unless authorized.
- Confiscation will apply to any prohibited items.
6. Health and Safety
- Report illness immediately to the matron or patron.
- Do not give or take medicine without approval from school medical staff.
7. Disciplinary Measures
- Violation of boarding rules may lead to punishment, suspension, or expulsion from the dormitory.
- Repeated misconduct will be reported to parents or guardians.
